Talkin’ Fisticuffs

Next Shows: June 18; July 16 (Tentative)

“IceMen Insights” is back with another hour-plus of IceMen analysis and nonsense! In this week’s episode…

Derick and I discuss another possible candidate for the IceMen head coaching vacancy, coaching hires in Indy and Toledo, Las Vegas taking a year off and how the ECHL could scale back the playoffs as a result, critical summer dates, and which potential IceMen returnees are officially veterans by ECHL rule.

Topics of conversation also include Peter Laviolette and Barry Trotz finding new jobs, the upcoming NHL Awards Ceremony, the impending NHL Draft and Free Agent Frenzy, new ownership for a championship-level CHL team, playoff updates from throughout the hockey world, another Skate Down Memory Lane, and an installment of “Hockey 101″ about fighting etiquette.

Plus: Another new “Rap Masterpiece Theatre” (old-school style) starring Stephen Rickard, Derick getting punched while refereeing at Swonder, music from a famous pro wrestler, Derick’s new face fuzz, knocking out some teeth, Derick becoming Ian Fraser, skeeters on your testicles, and Matt Krug (physically) putting Derick in his place!
