IceMen Insights Podcast #103:
Fan Frustrations & Searching For Wins

It’s Halloween, and the season has been a bit of a nightmare for the IceMen so far. The team’s trials and tribulations are certainly giving us plenty to talk about, as this week’s episode is our longest yet!

Derick and I discuss the team’s just-completed 4-games-in-5-days stretch, “true fans” and criticisms of Rich Kromm and Todd Robinson, discipline issues, adjusting to life in the ECHL with two NHL affilations, recent roster additions, and Kromm’s line changes and defensive pairing swaps.

On the lighter side, we’ve got Terry Ficorelli and Jim Mora impressions, “Pink the Rink” jersey auction results (and “which Gens is cuter?”), a cameo by Derick’s adorable daughter Ivy, and a special Halloween edition of Shocker’s Hockey Rock Song of the Week.

Plus, we discuss the Lane Goodwin tribute at last Friday’s game, offer up predictions for the next few games (one of us predicts three straight victories), and have some fun talking about Education Day and Mascot Night. All that and more in this week’s jam-packed IceMen Insights!
