IceMen Insights Podcast #126:
Pyle’s Plans for a Bright Future

Next Scheduled Broadcast: July 10

After a couple weeks off, “IceMen Insights” is back with another hour-plus of analysis and nonsense…

This week’s top story is the recent Swonder Q&A with Coach Pyle – including info about which players he expects to bring back, a popular player who WON’T be coming back, the future for Daniel Tetrault and Nathan Moon, a talented new player he’s got his eye on, Evansville’s affiliation future, leadership problems this past season, building a balanced roster, and more.

Other topics include ECHL Protected Lists, happy news for a longtime IceMen staffer, potential captains for the 2013-14 season, “real” hockey, why home-ice advantage isn’t always an advantage, a classic Ryan Sexsmith story, fun Booster Club stuff, another “Silly Season” update, and the latest on the playoffs from around the hockey world.

It’s also a banner week for Derick-related nonsense. Along with his usual technical difficulties, the “Dirty D” gets schooled by an 11-year old, royally botches the name of a Detroit Red Wings star, accidentally spits all over the studio, and completely fails at stumping Shocker.

Plus: Shocker inadvertently coins a new catchphrase, an SPHL team falls apart without Brian Patafie, Derick makes an iron-clad guarantee about the 2013-14 season, sweating at Enlow Field, peeing at the Coliseum, Stephen Rickard’s twitchy testicles, visiting Canada and Tim Horton’s, Shocker has corrupted Derick’s daughter Ivy, Patafie ticks off an IceMen player, and the fastest show outro ever!
